The External Semiautomatic Defibrillator is equipped with two buttons:

The user activates voluntarily the discharge procedure. . Before triggering the “Shock” button, the rescuer has the opportunity to check the safety conditions of the environment, including the distance between the victim and other people.

- Children: a pediatric cartridge for children weighing less than 25 kgs
